Summer in Full Swing

So busy! So many good times. Too many pictures too, so, I just figured I'll put them all up. Maybe I will add some words later but for now I'm prepping to go climbing in the Alps so other things have to wait.

Pink Sundew is a carnivorous plant that can be found in on the boggy high plateau of Dolly Sods in WV. We found this one while trying not to get swallowed up by the muddy trails of the bog.




Fording a beaver pond in the WV wilderness was a small part of the adventure on one of our recent backpacking trips.



Thistle's keep a lookout over a little known swimming hole(not in the park)




Water flows over some natural rock art on Red Creek (Dolly Sods).



After a full day of hiking in WV lying on your back and listening to the water flow by is relaxation at its best.
